I always love seeing dogs do simple tricks. “Speak! Lay down! Roll over! Solve for X!” Adorable.

Our dog loves clothes that she finds lying around. She’s a burrower and likes do dig into a pile of fresh clothing to get underneath. She has her own blanket and her own burrow bed but the allure of fabric that doesn’t already smell like a dog is irresistible.
Other popular names for dogs:

Cat
Squirrel detector
Alarm clock
Sheeple (so each morning you can yell “Wake up Sheeple!”)
I think the only issue we have with our dog is she likes to look out the window and bark at other dogs. Especially when someone is trying to take a nap. Like our new baby.

Back in college I was walking to class and about 50 yards from the door I got a big blob of bird poop in my hair. I thought it was a stick or something that hit me and instantly reached up and got it on my hand. I also tipped the balance of it so it started to ooze down the side of my head onto my cheek. I had to walk all the way back home and shower. I was very late for class.
If you give a dog a chance it will lick the inside of your mouth. If you just had bacon you really gotta watch out. Make sure to brush your teeth before taking a nap.

Our dog is only 15 pounds but still makes blanket adjustments a nightmare at 3AM. I can’t imagine what it’s like for people with large or multiple animals piled everywhere. How many creatures sleep in your bed each night?
Every once in awhile I’ll hear a strange sound coming from another room. A sort of rhythmic clinking. “Hmm, all the humans are over here… what could that sound be?” and then I will suddenly recall what it sounded like the last time the dog climbed up onto the table and started licking the forks and spoons on the plates.
