Chapter: Comic
The trees in my childhood neighborhood were sprinkled with kites and frisbees and shoes and all sorts of toys. Many of them stuck up there by accident. Some of them thrown in frustration. A good many of them were there in a failed rescue mission to get one of the other toys unstuck. They became little clusters of bright plastic shapes. Just hanging out and enjoying the view as the sun gradually removed all of their color.
Today’s Max is in between yawns.
*Note: When this strip went up on April 1st the comments below were moderated to hold back any mention of the joke. That’s why you’ll see so many people think they are the first one to point out it was April Fool’s day.

Ha ha! I love April 1st comics!
Isn’t this Maximumble, not Biff?
April Fools =P
No, this is Biff.
Check your calendar.
You must be mistaken, this is Biffimumble! 😛
Check the date. 😛
You’ve just figured out Blue’s Clues!
Think of the date, Michael.
Think carefully, Michael. What’s today?
April 1st 🙂
It certainly is. But, isn’t this April 1st? 😉
Chris is veeery sneaky when he hides comments like this! >=(
Michael, do you know what day it is?
Simple logic dictates that if you want Maximumble, go to where Biff should be.
Happy April Fools day!
It’s that time of year again…
Protip Check the date.
No, it’s April 1, is what it is. Chris always jokes around. Many goats are usually gotten, because he blocks revealing comments for a day. Maybe this one too, we’ll see.
So there WILL be April Fools Maxees (I was going to leave it as Maxis, but that’s kind of already taken. So Maxees it is).

This reminded me of Kleyman from The Neverhood!
No Michael, he’s combining the two comics into one, to be posted here. Did you miss the blog post?
Happy today again!
Check the date, dude.
Wow, so much detail! And colour two. This is really nice! My only quarrel is what is with the eyebrows?
It’s April Fool’s so Chris swapped the Maximumble and Book of Biff strips.
I knew that. See my comment I previously posted saying “Happy today again!” I enjoy joining in the fun and faking the fact that I was tricked, so in fact I April fooled you! 😀
Also Book of Biff is my favourite comic, and I have no quarrel with the eyebrows.
@ Michael, check today’s date 😉
APRIL FOOLS!
Yes. Yes it is. But hey, he was probably trying something, I thought the same thing when I saw biff.
*coughcoughlookatthedatecoughcough*
Cool! A multi-panel biff comic! Didn’t think I’d ever see one of those 🙂
Clever Chris, are we to expect a crossover in the future where Biff and Max meet?
First.
of April that is.
Michael… consider what day it is.
I’m just happy his eyes aren’t visible. That was creepy.
I had so much crap on our roof, including a library book my mom checked out for my baby brother! That thing stayed up there for months before I admitted what I did.
Me and a few friends used to play with an Aerobee that would consistently find the only tree in 500 yards of open field. So we started carrying these toys called Ugly Balls which were balls with ugly faces on them. They were cheap and so we didn’t mind losing them if they got stuck in the tree trying to get the Aerobee out. Of course since we wouldn’t mind losing them, they never got stuck in the tree.
He probably got the stretching ability from the new google motion feature.
LOL I love how they are switched today 🙂
HOLY MOLY! A multi-panel Biff strip!
I was out with a friend watching him fly his model airplane, and it got stuck in a tree. He really wanted to get it out because a) It’s an expensive model airplane. b) As soon as the remote is shut off, it starts incessently beeping (meant so if it got lost in tall grass it’d be easy to find.) We threw some metal blocks at it — no good. We tied string to it to try to “hook” it — actually got some string around it, it shifted a little bit but no good. Finally, he got a pellet gun and we started taking turns firing at it (making sure there was nothing past the tree to hit). One pellet did go through the wing, but that didn’t dislodge it either! He pre-apologized to the neighbors since it was going to be beeping for at least a day. I bet it’s still up there.
whoa, wait?… What?
