#64 – Another morning

Chapter: Comic
I’m always excited to make eggs in the morning. I recently taught myself how to flip them over without using a spatula. They usually come out pretty good and occasionally they come out perfect. It’s one of those tiny victories that nobody else is around to see that I only get to share with my mouth.
Today’s Biff is taking his time.
Also, if you are in Seattle, come and see me at the Emerald City Comicon starting Friday!

…I can’t flip pancakes.
It’s physically impossible.
‘I give up… anyone fancy some football?’
Ah, the imaginable taboos of emperor penguins.
Making eggs hurts my bottom.
Those penguins are going to eat their babies!?
I remember watching Planet Earth and there was this segment about penguins. They were all huddled together to keep warm, and the narrator goes “This type of behavior is so rare, it took our photographers a year to get this shot”.
Wow. I am both amazed and baffled at that. I wonder what they were doing all that time… Penguin sledding? I spy with my little eye? I would have gone nuts before a week was over, let alone a YEAR.
When I was a kid, first allowed to attempt to cook, I was so terrified of doing something wrong I turned the stove off to turn the eggs over. Then turned it back on. And since I HATE running eggs, it must have taken close to 20 minutes to fry one egg. But I was proud of my egg and it tasted wonderful!
I know how to wake up a penguin. Just touch their feet!
