Chapter: Comic
Growing up at my house we ate a fusion of what my mom knew how to cook minus what my dad hated. Whenever my dad was out somewhere else for dinner we got to have the really exotic stuff like Chinese takeout. If my mom and dad were both gone then we entered the exciting world of Ramen noodles plus water plus microwave plus ice cube because it took too long to cool off by itself.

This pun makes my face hurt.
This reminds me of a joke from “The Electric Company” (the old ones that were repeated on digital cable until 2002.) The joke would be that the two people riding a tandem bike would keep saying similar sounding words until the sketch ended.
My mom couldn’t and didn’t cook. She loved the 1950s invention TV dinners. Then came the new discovery, and my favorite, pizza delivery every Friday and Saturday. Home cooked meals came from grandmothers on holidays.
I wish the pizza place from my childhood still existed. I would love to be eating that stuff right now.
Me and my bro always get chinese food when my parents go out to eat.
There’s a restaurant in the next town over called Fusion. It’s a combination of different Asian foods and some really random non-Asian dishes. The food is good, but too pricey to eat there often.
The thing is I know a shop called Lasagna… it’s for electronics and household appliances…
