Personal robots really ruined the movie experience for me. All the gear grinding and servo motors whirring. I wish people would leave them switched off during the movie so everyone could enjoy it. At least make them pay full price for a ticket! They take up a full seat!

i swear, one time i went to a movie, and these guys behind me were having almost this exact same conversation.
“Hey, could you pass the popcorn?”
“Sure, here you go.”
“thanks”
“you want butter on that?”
“Yeah”
“okay here’s the butter”
“Thanks”.
I swear they were doing this the ENTIRE FREAKING MOVIE.
Next time there are some annoying guys talking in the movie theater, just turn around and start casually talking to them like you know them. They will freak out a little bit and stop talking. Then you won’t have any more talking problems.
We went to the insect movie about the Amazon once, and made a couple of (quiet, we thought) comments to each other; got shushed with “You’re _not_ in your living room!” We dummied-up.
