There are so many movies that I want to watch and plan on watching but will probably never get to. However this doesn’t stop me from watching weird movies that are not very good or enjoyable at 3AM. I’ve wasted so many movie watching opportunities on forgettable things that was just passing the time.
I’ve never gotten an autograph from someone in normal everyday life. It’s always been at a comic show or a concert where an official autograph signing situation is happening. I’m nervous enough as it is when they are expecting it. I can’t even talk to them at a coffe shop.
I’ve watched a few robot fighting games on TV. It was cool to see all the different ways the various teams would solve similar problems. I wonder if it will ever take off into primetime TV territory. Maybe it’s harder to relate to when it’s a game you haven’t been playing yourself since childhood.
I learned a lot about the bones and muscles of the human body in art school. I sometimes forget that this isn’t the common level of knowledge. When my son asks questions about bones and muscles in his body he gets answers that most adult have never even heard.
Biff and Maximumble had a baby and a 3rd comic strip was born! Check out my new comic at minimumble.com
Personal robots really ruined the movie experience for me. All the gear grinding and servo motors whirring. I wish people would leave them switched off during the movie so everyone could enjoy it. At least make them pay full price for a ticket! They take up a full seat!
And now I bring you one of my favorite comedy routines from my childhood:
Me: “Mom, make me a milkshake!”
My Mom: (Waves invisible magic wand at me) “Zap! You are now a milkshake.”
I will of course do this same thing to my children at every possible opportunity.
