#288 – Omelette

I’m constantly finding spiders in our bathtub. For the longest time I could never figure out why they were so attracted to it. Was it the color? The temperature? The moisture? Then one day it dawned on me. Spiders naturally crawl everywhere in the house. The bathtub is just very slippery to them. Once the crawl in they can’t get out.

Today’s Biff let’s it all out.

Judging by the mark on the back, I would guess that this is a Black Forester spider?

For spiders in the bath, just keep a towel hung over the side of the tub overnight. They can crawl out using it. (Just don’t get lazy and dry your face with it, or you get spider mash in your eyes.)

  7. Library Lady says:

The spiders come up through the drain. They stopped in the tub to relax after the long journey and you caught them before they could continue on to their next stop, the bedroom (where they could scare the bejesus out of someone).
