Our dog is ready to eat at the instant the food hits the bowl. It doesn’t matter what other activity was going on moments before. Food trumps all. Luckily she doesn’t read this strip or she may get some sneaky ideas.

My sister’s dog is like that. As soon as he hears food rattle in his bowl, he’s all about eating.

You can have a lot of fun by putting their favorite food in one side of a room and dangling their leash at the other.
Looks like my cat’s version of “Jump on her, lick her hands/face, walk on her, purr purr purr” trick when she wants me to get up and feed her at some ungodly hour. XD
I get the “walk on her, jump on her, get in fights on her” with my 6 cats. T_T Little twerps. Why can’t they understand I need sleep to keep my fleeting grip on the edge of sanity?
I had a cat that did turn on my alarm clock once by sitting on it, stepping in the exact buttons needed to activate it.
My cat climbs onto my moms bed at 7 in the morning and takes off her oxygen hose every morning if im not in the room on the pc
