#211 – Dendroica

It’s amazing how suddenly debilitating it can be to get a speck of something in your eye. The first time I got contact lenses was back when I was 12 years old and putting those lenses in was an amazingly impossible task. My brain had a furious argument with itself over it.

“There’s something touching our eye! Emergency tear ducts go! Clamp those eyelids tight it’s coming again!”

When I finally got them in the doctor asked me how my vision was. I couldn’t see anything through all the squinting and the river of tears.

Today’s Biff is relaxed.

You are truly a sick sick person. Don’t ever change.

They still have to go to work? Worst zombie apocalypse ever.

And yeah, contacts definitely take a little adjustment. On the rare occasions I actually think about it, the very fact that I no longer think twice about sticking a piece of plastic in my eye freaks me out a little.

I got a tiny bug in my eye the other day. It was horrifying.

my brother would hate this commic. you can’t even say “28 days” or “night of the living…” without him saying “You know I hate that!” or “I thought I told never to say that around me!”

but yeah, NCD on both this, and BITF.

The worse part of wearing contacts was when there was something else in my eye with the contact and my finger. Going back to my glasses made life ever so much easier.
    As for the zombies, COOL!

Try having a small bug fly in your eye while riding your bike, then having it work around to the side of the eye. Trying to get it out while you can feel it wiggling around inside your eye socket. Ugh, I had to stop the bike and lie on the ground.
