#104 – Reamed

I wonder what the origin of kids having a lemonade stand is. Do they still do it? I remember doing it when I was a kid and it now seems weird that my mom left me sitting out by myself in the front yard with a box of money and a jug of lemonade. I guess the best part about it was that you had a bunch of lemonade to drink when you gave up and went back inside.

Today’s Biff scores the goals.

It still happens from time to time, although not so much anymore.

My mother would always (and still does) make a point to stop and buy some from these children, be it lemonade, soda, or juice. Not because she was thirsty. She thought they were cute to make such an effort and such effort deserved to be rewarded. *L*

most of the time kids have a stand at a garage sale while their parents are watching. I use to sit out in the front yard and have one during the summer. good times

Lately mean people are trying to stop them – one set of neighbors reported the kids to the police for not having a license. In another case the neighbors helped out when 2 people took the money from the kids and ran.

Yeah, the main issue is no one actually walks around neighborhoods much anymore. That was also the case in the 80s when I was a kid.

Doing so at a garage sale would be a good idea.

OMG, a license for LEMONADE STAND, really??? I hope the police just laughed at the complainers. Our cops are busy trying to quell the murder rate and our city regulators are trying to crack down on things like unlicensed building contractors — lemonade stands definitely get a pass. And I do still see them!

an example of a girl who got her lemonade stand shut down due to licensing issues.

killing a [lemon] outright is not the best way to get a [lemon] to talk, btw =3 they need to be alive to talk… torture is more appropriate in this case. just sayin’

have you seen a lemon juicer?

I seen a reamer, and my mother told me a graphic description and every time I look at it, I say “Ouch!”

This one reminds me of the cloud, and snow… can’t remember which one that was though, but basically the same idea.
