Do I talk to them? Yes, of course. I’m reading them the Iliad right now. They love it. Can’t get enough.
You see a few weeks ago I was hungry and all we had to eat in the house were flower seeds. I mean who keeps flower seeds in the pantry anyway? Good news is they were delicious. I never knew I had gardener potential until now.
I remember collecting a bouquet of dandelion flowers on my way to school to give to my first grade teacher. I proudly showed them off to the other kids waiting around on the playground for the doors to open in the morning. It was going pretty good until an older kid piped up. “Those aren’t flowers, dandelions are weeds!” I dumped them in a shameful lump over by the fence and shuffled in to class with my head hung low.
