#70 – Peeped

Sometimes when I’ve had the flu I’ve wished that a small magical creature would appear and help me out with things. Bring me food and drink. Carry me down the stairs. Drive to my job and pretend to be me so I don’t use up all my sick days. Sometimes my fever dreams will actually grant me some of these wishes. Or at least it will make me think I’m a small magical creature.

Today’s Biff has many choices.

Wow! Was not expecting that! I guess because Biff is so clean as far as this type of humor is concerned.

    1. Yyyeah, this is definitely Chris’s “write whatever he wants” comic. Much wider range of parental ratings per comic.

  2. Ray A. says:

I had to read it three times before I got it. And now I’m going to go read Biff three times so I can forget it.

  3. Gwid says:

Frankly, I’m ashamed that I got that joke first time I read it.

I wish we could film our dreams. Or yours, at least. It would be fun to see a sickness-ridden Chris imagining he was a tiny magical creature of some sort.

  4. GRRR says:

Now that was funny! keep it up…a bit of a nod to C&H?

    1. Chris says:

I don’t remember Calvin & Hobbes having anything like this sort of relationship.

      1. ZeoViolet says:

Thank god they didn’t! I was, and still am, a big fan of C + H!

After the shock of reading this strip wore off, I laughed myself silly, though.

      2. Stranger says:

I think he just meant the magical companion aspect of things.

Probably just reading too much into things. He must be a philosophy student.

      3. GRRR says:

Yes – Cyanide and Happiness. Keep up the great work!

      4. Me. says:

Cyanide and Happiness, another web comic.

  5. ZeoViolet says:

    Oh. My. GOD!!!

  6. PattiZalmatar says:

I know Im going to be periodically laughing out loud all day, and most of the time will not be in a position to explain WHY….

  7. Cyndaquazy says:

Nice pun, took me a few times of accented pronunciation to get it… 8|

    1. Acies says:

      oooooooooooohhhh.. now i get it… thanx for the clue ^^;;

  8. Momorikku says:

Wow. If I had known that was how that one was going to go, I would have told my younger sister not to hover over my shoulder while I did my weekly comic update. I was really not expecting that.

I agree with Patti. I’m gonna but up laughing at random points in the day and I won’t be able to explain. Most of my family thinks that I’m still a little girl who shouldn’t get those sorts of jokes. And I’m graduating next year.
    But I digress.

  9. Chuck says:

So instead of spanking the monkey…..

    1. Carma says:

In Soviet Russia, the monkey spanks you.

  10. Library Lady says:

took me a few readings to get it also.
glad I’m on vacation and can lol w/o explaining it to a soul!

  11. AA says:

As I said before, more and more like cyanide and happiness (Probably what GRRR was referring to, not calvin and hobbes).

  12. sapphirefear says:

WHAT HAS BEEN SEEN CAN NEVER BE UNSEEN.

  13. MoonHitler says:

Took me a while to get it, purely because It wasn’t the sort of joke I’d expect from you after reading TBOB for a while.

  14. Radical Edward says:

Very disturbing. But, this is carte blanche!

  15. AmanoYuki says:

More proof that I am too dirty minded for my own good… >:D

Haha, more reasons that Maximumble is just as good as TBoB. I mean, it’d suck if they were exactly the same in terms of humor, right?
And anyway, we need more… actually, NO, we probably need LESS humor like this on the internet, but that isn’t the point.

    …dragonflies, anyone?

  16. Brandon says:

I feel like I was the only one that found this hilarious…

  17. Suomynona says:

had to read this twice now its on my favorites/bookmarks to be shared with the world

  18. Arcan says:

Had to read this twice. I got the joke the first time, the second time was to make sure that actually was the intended joke. Wasn’t expecting that.

  19. Octothorpe says:

Well… I must still be pretty pure. I STILL don’t get it. Even after reading it five times and reading through all of the comments.
