Chapter: Comic
I used to work near a park and would go on hikes during my lunch break. I got to see lots of cool birds. most of them go about their business without caring what I was up to. Occasionally though, I would find an owl. I would get out my binoculars to get a closer look and realize the owl had been watching me way before I even knew it was there.

When a bird does, it is still called “flipping the bird”?
It flips itself.
I was in a nature reserve once in a hut meant to let people look at the birds without disturbing them, when a flock of wading bird emerged from some reeds, walked right up to the hut and had a look inside.
Nature can be harsh, sometimes. Other times, dickish.
Well someone’s a Mr. Grumpypants today.
Congratulations! You’ve just sighted the Middle-feathered Snark!
This is the first time I’ve laughed out loud at something on the internet in a long time.
fun fact: the only reason you can see birds is because they let you see them, ohterwise you are deemed a threat and they either hide from you or kill you
