Roommates are often brought up with different values. They can commonly be from a different part of the country or even a different one altogether. But still… even with that… there’s no excuse for borrowing my toothbrush. I can’t even look you in the eye anymore.

Heh, I though the joke would be about misunderstanding when the word “horse” is said.
Now if the magazine had been “Filly,” it would have been another joke entirely.
I told this comic to my mother and she got a laugh out of it. This was after we read a bumper sticker that said “Rehab is for quitters” and that totally went over her head and she acted very seriously. I had to convince her that it was a play on words (people who are trying to quit the abuse of something usually go to rehab.) Sometimes, my mother doesn’t fire all her cylinders.
