#197 – Named

Back in 1989 I was at a comic show in Chicago and there were people there showing clips from the upcoming new Captain America movie. I was really surprised because I had no idea they were making it. The shots I saw weren’t very impressive and felt more like a TV show than a film. Apparently it ran out of money at some point and they didn’t get to make the movie they were going for. I haven’t seen the new one yet either but it sounds like it’s a bit more upscale than the first one. I’m looking forward to checking it out when the DVD comes out. I wonder if the 1989 Steve Rogers got a cameo in the new one.
