Chapter: Comic
I hated school and stayed home “sick” a lot more often than reality dictated. I had to think it through and pick my days carefully though. My mom noticed how I would suddenly feel better around 3PM and instituted the famous “If you were too sick to go to school then you are too sick to go outside and play with your friends.” Curse you logic!

I loved school. I had to be dying to miss a day.
I did that, too. And my mom invoked the “you’re too sick to go anywhere” schtick too.
My mother never invoked that logic, she just yelled at me. Maybe it’s because I don’t get out much anyway.
It took me a few minutes to get this one. Maybe I’m just tired. But it made me laugh when I got it.

My mom took the view that if I wasn’t throwing up, I was well enough. The only exception was when I had bronchitis.
Same here, unless I had a fever.
hahaha, it took me a minute to get it, too 🙂 I did notice that something was off, I just couldn’t put my finger on it.
You, me and Ferris Beuller, nothing about school was fun….. My mother kept me home and off to the doctor if I so much as sneezed twice before high school. After the doctor off to bed or my grandmother’s to watch TV and sleep.
He’ll probably be disappointed tomorrow when he learns that nobody noticed the difference.
