I always take my wedding off to shower. The soap makes it too slippery and I’m afraid it will get lost in the drain. It’s extra scary at a hotel. At least at home I would have a good chance of getting it back myself.

If you are so worried it’ll slip off that easily with a little soap, you might want to consider having it resized. (I knew someone like that.)
I think this is pretty normal, I don’t wear my engagement ring most of the time for fear of loosing it. I’m sure I’ll be even worse with the official one
I’ve beaten the system. I’m too ugly to marry in the first place, so I’ll never lose my wedding ring.
I think wearing ANY jewelry into the shower is unwise.You should be naked to clean all of your body and yeah to not drop anything down the drain.
If I ever ended up married, I’m not sure I would even wear it in the first place. See, I rust gold.
