I always take my wedding off to shower. The soap makes it too slippery and I’m afraid it will get lost in the drain. It’s extra scary at a hotel. At least at home I would have a good chance of getting it back myself.

I’m so used to newer houses around here with multiple bathrooms it’s weird thinking about the house I grew up in. We had 6 people and 1 bathroom. I don’t remember it being that big of a deal but I was just a kid. My teenaged sister probably had a different opinion on the situation.
We had really great water pressure in my house growing up. I didn’t know it wasn’t a universal thing until I was much older. I’ve been in some places where you can just barely take a shower. If anyone else tries to get a drizzle of water out of another location you ruin the showerer’s day.
I didn’t hear the term “bathrobe” until I was an adult. I always thought it was called a “towel coat”. I’m guessing it’s because I just made that up because I couldn’t think of a bathrobe anecdote to talk about here.
My son is excited when the dandelions come up. He loves to pick them one by one and blow the seeds into the air. I think it stimulates a the same part of his brain that loves to blow bubbles. He is going to be envious of our neighbor in a few weeks when all those seeds take root next door.
