#604 – Romance

Back a few years ago I was hired via a phone interview for a new job that required me to move to a new state. It was for more money and more responsibilities than I had ever had before. Unfortunately I developed a persistant cough that prevented me from completing a single sentence for the first 2 weeks after I arrived. I awkwardly met hundreds of people for the first time while barely able to speak.
