Thinking back, my best movie theater experiences are usually on opening night. I think that’s when the theater is full of people that actually want to see the film. Seeing that same movie a few weeks later there are scattered packs of bored people that don’t really want to be there. I guess they have nowhere else to go?
My wife recently upgraded her phone so I have her old iPhone. It doesn’t have cell service so I mostly use it as an internet enabled camera. Now more people know what my dinner looks like.
Seems to be a curious trend that I see lately. People are excited to get the latest greatest thing but also hate change. “I want my new thing to be just like my old thing!”
Setting your phone to vibrate is a good way to be alerted that someone is contacting you without disturbing others. But if you set your phone down on something large and hollow it can actually buzz louder than your ringtone would have. The best is when someone would set their phone down on a conference table at an important meeting. Everyone stops to look at that loud buzzing phone. You can pretend it’s not you when there’s a quiet ringtone chirping from your pocket.
