#545 – Burger

In my youth hamburgers had 2 variations, with or without cheese. I was pretty skeptical when I first went to a restaurant that had “fancy” hamburgers. I never imagined avocado would be one of my favorite additions.

    I like avocados, but they don’t like me (or, rather, don’t like to stay in my stomach for long).

    Them alligator pears are the best thing to happen to most sandwiches. Those, and bacon.

    Grilled onions (not raw). Usually when I grill burgers, I slice up an onion and grill it (in a foil pouch with salt, butter, and olive oil) right next to the burgers. So tasty, and I never would have tried them when I was younger.

      Agreed, I haven’t liked onions as a rule and have ordered food without them, but now I will order a hamburger with making any variations, I’m surprised how many places put cooked, and even caramalized onions on a burger… yummo

    go to fatburger (if there are any still around); you can add fried eggs to your burger.
