Chapter: Comic
I seem to have a hard time telling people they have the wrong number when I get random weird texts. It’s easy when they dial the wrong voice number because they hear your unfamiliar voice. But “Who is this?” and “Stop texting me.” just turns into a game when it’s all text.

Perhaps a reply somewhat like Yoda’s will send them scratching…
I try to follow along with the conversation until the random person catches on.
I’ve done that too. Last time, somebody was trying to buy a pickup truck from me. I own a Chrysler sedan. It was going good until the young lady finally looked at the cell number. So, if you’re out there, Lupe, Hi!
took me a 2nd read to get the song parody in Yodas words
i remember i received a text that said “hey sweetie” or something like that. at that time i had no gf, so i resisted the urge to respond. fortunately, the sender probably realized she used the wrong number, ’cause i never got another text like it.
I was getting a text in the middle of the night asking why I wasn’t calling them. I finally responded on the third night that they have the wrong number. They responded “i see how ur gonna be”.
I wonder if I broke up a failing relationship or a misrepresented one-night-stand (or a budding relationship where both of them had the wrong numbers). At least, I didn’t get texts in the middle of the night after that.
hehe, seems like that yoda and luke always have texting problems 😀

I once got a call and when I said hello a guy just goes “Who is this!” I say “You called me who is this?”. This goes back and forth for a while with him getting madder and madder until he finally yells “Where’s Petra!”. Apparently he called his girl and wasn’t too happy to hear a guy answer the phone. I just told him it was a wrong number and hung up.
If it wasn’t 3am and the last of my cell phone minutes I probably would have messed with him.
The other night I got a random text. He didn’t believe me, thought I was just a girl who changed her mind and was playing with him. Somehow it turned into an hour long conversation, so random I swear it had to be a dream, but the proof was on the phone.
