#31 – Friction

My favorite ice skating memory is from when I was a kid and my neighbor’s back yard had flooded right before the big winter freeze. All the kids in the neighborhood would go over there and skate around or just slide around in their shoes. It was a cool casual thing until a few adults that were amateur hockey players discovered it and took it over with their “sticks” and “pucks” and “skills”.

Yeh..ice stops being fun when adults start bringing their “skates” and their “it’s not funny when you fall down for the seventeenth time” attitude..

I’m terrible at skating, ice or roller. I find myself just sitting back and let the experienced have a go.

Ironic how the bald guy still has more hair than the skater guy.
