#280 – Isolation

I first experienced the internet in 1994. Since then my access to it has gotten easier and more pervasive. Now it’s in my pocket wherever I go. It’s constant presence is taken for granted and only exposed by the moments where it disappears. “The internet is down! What do we do! Make it come back!”

Today’s Biff keeps playing over and over and over.

My first experience with the internet was in 1997. I never looked back. I found the Internet to be a source of life as I knew it.

I recently got a wi-fi hotspot gadget, and can’t wait to set to “Temporary Hotspot” and get a few users logged in, then turn it off. Maybe they’ll blank out like Mr. Stevens.
