I saw my first lunar eclipse somewhere around 1989. It was cool because a big group of people from the neighborhood gathered together to watch it. I remember being a little disappointed because I thought the moon was going to disappear like a magic trick. Instead it turned a really dark orange.
Today’s Biff digs you up.
I once stayed up late into the night to watch the moon disappear. I even woke up my friends to watch the event. ( In the northeast, near the cities, watchable celestial events are rare.) ….and then it took forever for it turn dark, and worse still, it was red-orange…my friends weren’t too happy. 🙁 I was tho XD
You do get the same eerie silence that one experiences with a solar eclipse. Maybe even more off-putting because nocturnal animal sounds are kinda creepy to start with, but when it all suddenly stops……
I am remembering early Dragon Ball for a reason.
I was hoping I wasn’t the only one thinking of the wolf man. I’m pretty sure this was the only time Krillan’s shiny head came in handy.
