Chapter: Comic
Back when I was an idiot I used to shoot arrows in all kinds of reckless ways with my friends. Sometimes we shot them straight up in the air to see who could stand the closest to where it would land. I would sometimes imagine that just as the arrow reached its peak altitude a low flying plane or helicopter would fly by and get hit. That would have been really embarrassing.
Today’s Biff gets away.

uhhh, wait. You shot them in the air, and then tried to see if you could be closest to it when it fell? like, straight down aiming at your head?
hmmm, ok 🙂
Yep!
The saying “boys will be boys” comes to mind. My uncles tell similar tales . How any of them lived long enough to grow up sometimes amazes me.
We did the same thing, but with yard-umbrella spikes…
My cousin and I did the shooting of the arrow up into the air thing, but we did ours at more of a 75 degree angle in a large open field. That was until the wind blew one right into the windshield of a passing semi. We were quite done then, quite done.
It’s not just boys … I participated heartily in doing this sort of thing with air-rifles when my cousins and I were small.
Try it with a irritated badger sometime!
Yesterday I randomly threw a large stick. It hit a guy driving by in a car. He gave me the finger and I later found out he knew who I was at school….
Looks like someone really wanted to spend some time with him and look like the hero.
