Not at all. I like both franchises…along with Battlestar Galactica (Classic *and* reboot), Babylon 5, the Terminator franchise, the Aliens movies, the Stargate franchise, etc. Heck, I’ll watch pretty much anything with a Sci-Fi/Space Fantasy/Space wars theme at least once.
This would never happen. A star wars fan would never ruin himself by wearing that t-shirt

No, it’s not that far-fetched but some people insist on drawing lines in the sand that don’t really matter.

Star Trek has a lot of story and stories, but it’s low on visuals.
Most people don’t really get into that debate because it generally feels like two different genres.
