The way the sun sets, the story must take place on the southern hemisphere, late afternoon. Just had to say this.
That inspired me to check the moon in the last panel. The left crescent indicates that the moon was following close to sunset (I think) so at least they’ve not yet been up all night.
It’s more of what you’d call “guidelines” than an actual to-do list…
