#484 – Flush

Chapter: Comic
We had really great water pressure in my house growing up. I didn’t know it wasn’t a universal thing until I was much older. I’ve been in some places where you can just barely take a shower. If anyone else tries to get a drizzle of water out of another location you ruin the showerer’s day.

Another case of justifiable homicide involving the toilet would be ignoring raised seat/lowered seat etiquette.
Never mind the seat. The toilet is a big bowl in which we dispose of human waste, so I prefer to keep the lid down.
Maybe, but did you ever live with someone who completely ignored the fact, AND the seat? *raises hand* Certain male family members of mine were AWFUL at that. Nevermind now, because they have wives to keep them in line on the issue.
Ah, the entitlement of asking your significant other to handle the toilet seat twice so you don’t have to touch it at all…
They do the crime, they do the time!
We both use the toilet sitting (me for everything, him for pooping) and he’s the only one who uses it standing. So yes, he should do it.
I agree with both reasons! Especially seat equiette.
It’s missing a “me” in there somewhere. Maybe.
Definitely in the first pane, but it’s funny how I didn’t notice it until your comment.
Oh that’s what you meant! My brain didn’t register what you were saying when your comment first came through.
It did make an interesting think-over at first.
growing up at home, water pressure was a serious issue. if you wanted a bath, you’d have to run it for about an hour, maybe an hour and a half. you had to plan an evening around it!
what would be worse: having someone flush while you’re in the shower, or coming out of the shower and seeing the leftovers in the toilet?
Our (1910) house was like this, various sizes of galvanized pipe throughout, patched through the years, full of scale. We finally saved up, bit the bullet, and got repiped with copper; flush all you want!
And sometimes there will be leftovers anyway, as long as they are where they belong!
