Chapter: Comic
I hate mustard. Always did, my whole life. Occasionally I would be at a family get together and would be served a hamburger with mustard on it. Trash. Then one day in college I bought a stack of frozen dinners that were on sale. I was eating one of them and thought “What is this delicious flavor?” I dug the box out of the trash to find “Chicken Dijon”. “Huh… suddenly I like mustard.”
Today’s Biff does some research.

Yep I remember, I didn’t hate mustard, I just didn’t think I liked it. I could never figure out why burgers at home never tasted as good as restraunts? Then I put mustard on one. Boom the missing piece and have used it ever since.
Mustard adds that hint of spicy, that tanginess that the sandwich would otherwise not have.
I had a similar experience. Hated mustard for my whole life, then wondered why people liked pork with mustard and decided to try it. Love it now.
there are differnt kinds of mustards using different types of ingrediants besides the mustard seed. I cant say I`m very fond of it.
Scrape and lick.
i see what you did there
Well, Dijon mustard and regular mustard taste quite differently. I could imagine there’s people liking one of these but not the other. And then, there’s Bavarian sweet mustard.
I hate mustard with a passion. In olden days mustard was used to induce vomiting – yep, it still works. When eating a fast-food burger I can tell if there was a molecule of mustard residue on the gloves of the guy that assembled the burger and it ruins half the sandwich.
I’m the same way with pickles – I hate pickles. Even taking the pickles off of a burger ruins it – the taint is still there. I will seriously take it back to the counter and demand a new one because I ALWAYS order no pickles.
According to one of my aunts, when I was three I decided that I wasn’t going to eat anything other than mashed potatoes because I didn’t want to have to chew anything.
