Chapter: Comic
When I was a kid and saw concert videos of rock bands I always dreamed of being the one that got to catch the drum stick or guitar pick tossed out into the audience. You had to be paying attention, you had to have good reflexes and you had to be in just the right spot. Finally one year I was at a small club show standing right up against the stage. The opening band’s equipment was set up at the front of the stage and I was standing right next to the drummer. During one song a stick cracked and when the song ended he turned and handed it to me. Not nearly as dramatic as those rock videos made it seem.
Today’s Biff speeds it up.

My personal favorite was one time when me and my friend were right in front of the stage by the bass player. He was there headbanging when all of the sudden he kicked outward… Making a solid connection with my friends forehead. He quickly apologized and kept playing, but he let my friend keep the dusty boot-print and slightly swollen eye!
So, if the singer tries to surf the crowd, can the audience split him up?
Oh god O.o
it could have been worse. the drum stick could have flied out and impaled you. on the good side it would have made a great subject for a comic 😉
the 1st panel really put me in mind of Screamin’ Jay Hawkins!
