Also, check out the guest comic I did for Bug Martini!
When I’m working on comics my wife is frequently in the next room over about 15 feet away. There’s a short wall between us so she can’t actually see me. Consequently she will ask me questions that I don’t respond to because she has no idea that I’m wearing headphones.
When I was a kid and saw concert videos of rock bands I always dreamed of being the one that got to catch the drum stick or guitar pick tossed out into the audience. You had to be paying attention, you had to have good reflexes and you had to be in just the right spot. Finally one year I was at a small club show standing right up against the stage. The opening band’s equipment was set up at the front of the stage and I was standing right next to the drummer. During one song a stick cracked and when the song ended he turned and handed it to me. Not nearly as dramatic as those rock videos made it seem.

I grew up and still live in an area that gets all 4 seasons. All the ice cream specialty shops close up and all the ice cream trucks stop driving during the winter. I wonder if that’s unique to this area though. Surely the parts of the world that have warm weather year round have ice cream shops open year round. Wouldn’t that be true in the cold parts as well? If you open an ice cream store in a cold weather are I’m guessing it stays open year round as well.
