I used to say “It all goes to the same place” when people would make fun of my choice in mixing foods. Granted there are things that don’t mix well. Like anything milk based should be far removed from citrus or similarly acidic foods mainly because of curdling and all that entails.
I have pretty much this exact conversation with my dad every other week.

I do this with hamburgers and cheddar chips. It tastes awesome.
