#362 – Hero

Back when my son was born I didn’t get much of that magical thing called sleep. I would wake up in the living room with him asleep in my arms and figure out what time it was based on what show was on the TV. Occasionally I was really thrown off because I would be watching the nightly news program and expect David Letterman to come on next. Instead I would get an infomercial because I was actually watching the 3AM repeat of the news. It must be embarrassing to be a superhero that sees an emergency happening on the 3AM news and show up to the scene hours too late.

Naked Man was thwarted by his one weakness, Modesty. Someone tossed a towel around his waist at the last minute.

Batman saw the light in the sky. Superman just sorta heard who needed help. The rest of the Superhero crowd get called or notified in some manner unique to them. But who watches TV to learn where to go help in an emergency?

John Hancock. He stops bank robbers when he sees the chase on the news

It’s generally frowned upon to be walking among the dead at train wrecks without clothing, so I could see how this could be a headline. What the SUB-head was, would be far more interesting… 😀
