Personally, I prefer plump dill pickles. I perceive a positively pleasing punch to my palette.

    My mom would always talk of eating dill pickles with peppermint sticks in the middle as a kid. I tried it once, not bad.
    Pickled peppermint a palatte pleasing pucker.
