This is actually the exact reason I don’t watch sports. I’d rather play sports than watch them (except I’m out of shape and none of my friends want to – so I play video games).
This is such a good point. Fortunately I haven’t ever needed to explain my position on why I watch Let’s Plays. But this definitely brings to light the similarities. Lol
Well, this will certainly help me explain my youtube channel to my family. And everyone else I talk to about it who look at me like I just grew a third head.
Holy cow. I never have been able to explain why I like watching let’s plays to people in the past, but this comic nails it. Saving for later use.
‘course. some of us don’t understand watching sports, either.
That’s as actually a methods I use. If they ask I just respond back, “why do you watch sports?”
Anybody who asks me that gets “I don’t” as a response.
This is such a valid point.
But what if you don’t watch sports, or play sports, or watch video games, or play video games? Have a job? Read books? LAME.
That’s what mad science is for, silly!

when they get paid millions of dollars, it’s no longer just a game
They only get paid that much because people watch them obsessively. Faulty logic is faulty.
