Being able to sleep in for multiple days in a row was magical. Every day was more and more amazing because I was finally getting enough sleep. “School would be so much better if I got sleep like this during the rest of the year!”

Actually, it totally really would have been better if you’d had more sleep in high school.
I took a look at that page. Do schools really start before 8 in the USA? Are they nuts??? Like people having to leave home around 6h30… wake up when it’s still dark out in the winter? I don’t remember school starting any sooner than 8h30 and it’s already early enough!
Damn… Our school started at 8:00 and I had to wake up at 6:30 to catch the bus at 7:00… the regular hours though… once a week there was a class starting at 7:00… (Czech Republic)
One of the many reasons we are homeschooling – school starts after the child is fully rested.
Not going to link, but XKCD has warned about saying “Wake up, Sheeple!” too many times.
“Sheeple” is one of the most-overused words in “English”
Ha! I beat all of you. I’m home schooled. I got to sleep in till 10 or 11.
Summer vay-cay = a non-stop coma for me
