Chapter: Comic
I see volleyball nets set up at lots of family gatherings and company outings. I don’t recall actually seeing anybody play though. I think I only played back in gym class in high school. The only volleyballs I remember coming across as a kid were one being used as substitute soccer balls. Maybe it’s more popular for people that grow up on a beach.
Today’s Biff holds his breath.

Oops!
Never could play volleyball. Always moved out of way if the ball came anywhere near me. Not much for sports with flying objects.
My volleyball skills came in handy when I had to play as goalie in a soccer game… though I have to say that catching was not my forte
He really got ahead of himself there….*Runs away*
I don’t understand the body of your statement! *flees*
I played intramural volleyball in university. Our team was waaaaaaaay too careful in avoiding the situation depicted in this comic, resulting in a crowd of people who COULD have went for the ball, but didn’t… Apparently, this situation is called “campfire” because there’s a circle of people watching the ball drop, like a circle of people watching a campfire. “Campfire” happens to be our team name.
Haha. I like this. 🙂
That’s what you get for forgetting to wear your neck.
The last time I played volleyball, I was on a cruise ship. I’m just glad I wasn’t the one who had to retrieve it when it landed in the ocean.
“We still get that point right? hello?”
I prefer Wallyball to Volleyball. It’s like Volleyball but played with a bouncier ball in a room slightly longer than a typical volleyball court. You’re allowed to bounce the ball off of the side walls which allows for some incredibly interesting shots. I think I managed to get the ball to bounce from one wall to the other three times in a serve before.
