I hate it when I’m working out in the yard and one crawls up my leg.
I would love to have that problem.
Assuming, of course, that you’re talking about gay people and not spiders, ’cause a gay dude crawling up my leg is appealing and naughty, but spiders are still just nope.
But after a while it’s like “Dude, can you help me haul these branches out to the curb or something you’re being super un-productive right now”
Why would you even wish that?
Or is it that the first 2 people are different from the third? i.e. “if you are currently homophobic; you become scared and run away” …
downside is that people kill spiders because they are phobic …
You’re right. Nobody kills people because they are gay. This would be horrible.
Homophobia is not a fear, it’s idiocy. You can’t cure idiocy.
Anything labeled “phobia” is a fear, on account of “phobia” literally means “fear”.
Homophobia, as it’s commonly understood in America at least, is a misnomer that tends to refer to gay-hating rather than gay-fearing. From a semantic standpoint, I find this comic hilarious because it’s an improperly-used label that’s always annoyed me.
The cure for idiocy is education.
Chris, that might be the best one you’ve ever made. I laughed so hard I heard my neighbor jump.
And ladies and gentlemen, the hate does come from a fear, as stupid as that fear may be. These people really are afraid that you’ll make them homosexual and damn them, or their children, friends, etc. or they’ve been raised to believe that all homosexuals are pedophiles and rapists, and a mix of both. They’ve had people terrorizing them about it all of their lives. Their fear isn’t less real because it comes from a place of mis-education or lack completely of education and often manifests as hate. It’s still fear. I find trying to remember that helps keep the instinct to punch people in the face in check.
So, what does it look like when someone walks into one of their webs?
