Whoa! I’ve never seen a topical joke like this before on mumble. In a few months or a year from now I wonder how many people are going to understand this when they first read it.

    1. Frank says:

That’s what I thought. You’d need a link to the story for it to make sense in a couple of months.

      1. Luris says:

Or even now if you don’t live in N.A. …
Could you put a link, or some search words? (‘swat clock’ isn’t enough)

    Nice job man! 😀

Gosh, I feel so bad for Ahmed. 🙁

    1. reynard61 says:

I feel bad for the other kids in that school. They’re now forced to grow up in a stultifying intellectual wasteland in which all spontaneous creativity is stifled for fear of possible arrest and/or expulsion. *Not* the kind of learning atmosphere that curious young minds should be subjected to…

(And I can only wonder how that forced lack of creativity will affect their job-seeking and job-holding abilities, as well as their chances for promotion in what ever fields of employment they find themselves in. “Think outside the box” might be difficult when your imagination was effectively stuffed into a coffin while you were in school…)

      1. Natemare says:

I don’t really think it will effect the other kids. TBH, I think it was mostly racism. He’s dark skinned and afghani and he said that the school was a very hostile environment for him. He plans on moving to another school thank goodness.

It was in Texas. ‘Nuff said.

  3. Shadowlyger says:

This is the only proper response to that conversation.

  4. rhiakath says:

Ok, i don’t understand it. Is there a story behind this?

  5. BobBiscuit says:

@Rhiakath It’s related to the kid in Texas, Ahmed Mohamed, who was arrested for bringing a homemade clock to school because one of the teachers thought it was a bomb.

    1. Azkyroth says:

“Thought” isn’t the word you want.

    2. Huttj509 says:

If anyone thought it was a bomb, they MAJORLY mishandled the situation. No bomb squad, no clearing the area, etc.

This leaves the question as being: idiot (for mishandling a bomb situation), or asshole (for knowingly lying about thinking it was a bomb)?

  6. switchlord says:

It’s enough to “tick” you off….

  7. Ivan says:

    Excellent volley!!

I don’t comment here often because they aren’t on display and I miss the button, but this one I looked for it. As timely as could be.

Be sure to make one when he gets to the White House on that tweet invitation.

  8. David Weinehall says:

    I literally lol:ed.

  9. his boogness says:

“It’s a biological one! Quarantine this area and get some guys in hazmat suits down here. NOW!!”

    1. shags says:

“Sir, just be glad it wasn’t an atomic clock. Those things are extremely accurate.”
