Don’t name it Loss, man, I spent several minutes trying to find

When my friend was going through what became the last round of life-prolonging chemo, we would go through all of the magazines the office had weekly. It didn’t matter if they were the same magazines. After all, we were going to be there for a few hours. Sometimes 4, sometimes 8. We spent a lot of time mostly mocking them-the fashion in them, the terrible stories, the bad advice. Sometimes stealing recipes out of them or building the dream home she wasn’t going to get. That probably sounds depressing, but I swear, it wasn’t. Woman was Stage IV for 4 years, and we got a lot of life into them. We had a lot of fun with those magazines, and they helped shield us from the pity you seem to get when you’re young and in that kind of office. This made me smile, Chris. She would have too. 😀

Those that don’t want to go are send with express delivery, those that don’t to stay are kept on the backburner.

You left out “Highlights for Children” although the idea of that magazine in a hospital actually makes me sad so probably a good choice leaving it out.

    “Hello. Here to visit someone?”

“No. I’m here for the latest edition of ‘People'”
