I have to admit this one confused me. Then I read the tag – Procrastination. I’d probably have a very different facial expression as opposed to the person visualized. More of a disparaged…. “I’m never gonna get around to this…” xP
Procrastination comes in multiple forms.. I believe.

Oh, I see. I tend to be a little too blunt sometimes I suppose.

If this is based on real life – do it! Both my shoulders decided to develop “weightlifter’s shoulder”, which in my case should be called “carseat swinger’s shoulder” (my son was not a willing sleeper). First the right one went out, then the left. I had them both sliced and diced about 6 months apart. The surgery wasn’t awful and now they’re back to about 95% functioning (which is pretty good for about to turn 40). It’s so nice to be able to think about doing stuff like frisbee golf or tennis without having to worry about how much my shoulders are going to hurt afterwards.

Plus I had this one chronic problem with my wrist that developed after I stopped using the other shoulder. All it took was one shot of cortisone and it never came back again. Magic!

Better than “I’ll put in a referral, they’ll call you later to set up an appointment.” That’s what they do to me, anyway.

    3 weeks later, phone rings:
“Hi, this is Dr. Soandso’s office calling to set up the referral appointment for your shoulder problem?”

“Oh right, that, yeah so that whole arm just fell right off last week so… not really a problem anymore…”

My current doctor is so awful, I generally try to get referrals because the specialists are better. Procrastination, well, that’s a whole other issue. It’s usually the doctor’s appointment I procrastinate… the ones I need to make so I can get those precious referrals…
