“I’ll just put the phone back in my pocket and do something else, yeah, then I’m sure to get a reply.”
*can’t focus on anything else – pulls phone from pocket every 10 seconds to check again*
This is the story of my life…
…and I’ll be back in about 10 seconds…
You poor, poor little man.
I’m actually quite tall.
Fake. The battery level doesn’t drop nearly fast enough.
Exactly my thought. The first thing I checked after reading this comic the first time.
I guess you haven’t experienced how fast a panic like this sets in.
There is no unit of time measurably smaller than the time it takes a phone to lose 1% charge.
You should watch the battery status of my phone when I check every available channel of communication once a second.
Finally I’ve got it: the phone crashed and its screen froze. Supposedly the main cause of heart attack in the near future.
Sorry for the multitude of comments, but I experienced something else. Sometimes having a thumb on a modifier key of the virtual keyboard prevents the entire screen from getting refreshed.
(I’d really like to see the phone screen of the last panel.)
gosh, i know this feeling…
I’ve been waiting for that reply for the last few years…
