#926 – Vicarious

They only thing I played with from my dad’s childhood was a baseball and glove. My son is interested in every single major toyline I played with as a kid. It’s something I never expected to happen but it’s a lot of fun getting to relive all my childhood stories with him.

Nope, never had those toys and my son doesn’t play with new ones now. Do they still make those?

      1. I have seen new ones (as in from the 2000’s), but I guess that they are meant to be more of a collector’s item than a toy. I’m not too fond of how they look, though… Just my opinion here, but He-Man himself looks too much like Dolph Lundgren now, and I don’t think Skeletor’s supposed to be barefoot. The old Skeletor (and many of the other bad guys) that I know and love had “duck feet”!

I can’t wait for my kids to discover my old toys.

Then, Han and Chewie can fly Duke, Lady Jay, and Snake Eyes in the Millennium Falcon to fight the Decepticon/Cobra alliance led by Darth Vader and Skeletor from their Lego fortress.

But the Spawn figurines aren’t toys. Those stay in the box, dang it!

Transformers and TMNT… Were cool before they were BAYed.

I was going through these comics by pressing the random. The comic the random gave me was this http://maximumble.thebookofbiff.com/2013/08/13/681-play/ hmm…. I think I have found a sequel, maybe the random button is trying to tell me something.
