Very funny, but um…are the lines switched in panels 1 and 2?
No that’s the same person in all 3 panels. I should add the headboard to the first 2 to make that clearer. I frequently leave out backgrounds in the zoomed in shots.
I have a related issue where I frequently take out my contact lenses before determining where my glasses are. I keep making this mistake despite the fact that I’ve been wearing contacts for 20 years. :S
I tend to panic when I wake up and realize I’ve dozed off while wearing my glasses. I always put them right within reach, and it’s usually the only thing I do that I remember doing before I go to sleep.
I once lost a pair of glasses for 3 years doing that. My cat stole them (presumably not off my face) and hid them about 2 feet away but just out of sight no matter how hard I looked under the bed.
This is something I live in constant fear of. I have, however, become surprisingly good at distinguishing their particular black blur. I think it is also becoming more common to own multiple pairs of glasses.
What, you never heard the old joke about the old lady who had three pairs of glasses? One for inside, one for outside, and one for when she lost the other two.
