I bake my own birthday cake every year, I think it’s the reason half the people show up!
I don’t like people making a fuss over me, and as a result I hate birthdays. I’m just glad that Father’s Day is close to my birthday most years, so I can usually get them both out of the way in one go.
Personally I’d prefer it if my friends and family did this.
