It is probably as high as 30% of murders of husbands occur due to the fact they implied this to their wives, and the wives thought otherwise.

A fourth panel could have shown the laundry to wash, the house to be picked up, the floor to be vacuumed, the linoleum to be mopped, the oven to clean, the baby to diaper, the trash to empty, the toilet to scrub, the fingerprints to get off the cabinet, the fridge to clean out, more formula to be heated, a calendar of all the older kid’s extracurricular activities he’ll need taken to that day, a sink full of dirty breakfast dishes, dinner burning because Mom’s so busy…….for starters.

    1. Mary Ann says:

It would not be possible to show everything a stay-at-home parent does in one more panel. The point, I think, was that this dad realizes that his wife works hard to take care of his children.

A bit late coming back to this but…I wrote that tongue-in-cheek. He didn’t need a fourth panel, but I was extending the image in my mind…

  2. I love the baby’s face.

  3. caffiend says:

and that’s with just 2 kids… for the household with 3 or more?

  4. Barn0wl says:

    Hence why I have 0 kids …

  5. kingklash says:

At one point, my mom had four kids under five years old to deal with at home. She got lots of complements about how well-behaved we were.
