2) will there ever be a time when mother can’t/doesn’t/won’t correct behavior?

Now he has to go sit in the corner of the dining area, and think about his behavior.
Yeah, but why do they come and ask you if everything is okay when they can clearly see you chewing a mouthful of food?
They’re trained to. It minimizes complaints.
Whenever a waitress comes over and asks that while all of us have a mouthful of food, we know — she is a career waitress.
Second that; the old pros (think Du Par’s) have impeccable timing that way!
I start miming my response. I won’t let the waitress go until she figures it out. It doesn’t matter if I’ve swallowed my food by then.
