Chapter: Comic
When I was a kid I heard about a game called “Dungeons and Dragons” and it was described as a “role-playing game”. I never saw that phrase written down but I saw a bunch of multi-sided dice were used so I thought people were saying “roll playing game”. So I thought the term referred to any game that used those fancy dice. This was really confusing when I got older and started hearing about adults “roll playing” in the bedroom.
Today’s Biff is chill.

Better make sure you don’t fail your saving throw against venereal disease.
“I put on my robe and wizard hat.”
Either dice or bread.
As a child I heard several times how evil “Dungeons and Dragons” and “role-playing games” were (I assume there were some killings blamed on DnD like some more recent ones were on FPS). I didn’t even know what a “role-playing game” was until after playing several computer RPGs and finding out they’re no more consistantly immoral than books or movies (or rock music).
Oh, but that’s a roll in the hay. It’s completely different. Mostly. Sometimes.
@chris i just got my dnd dice last night

LOL!!!!!
Never played DnG or any other game of this type. Now I wish I had.
Never too late to start; just started playing D&D 3.5 a few months ago; about to try Werewolf… Good times.
I’ve wanted to try DnD or something similar for quite some time. The problem is I’m antisocial, even from a nerdy standpoint. For the time being I’ll just stick to FF, DQ, and GS.
even funnier since superman is pretty much the best in dc and aspires to be the nobody of marvel
I grew up with a family of geeks so I was introduced to D&D like ASAP, I got to always help set up the dungeon 🙂
We had a preacher about 15 years ago that one of my friends liked to quote, giving a sermon on the evils of “sex, drugs, and ROLE PLAYING GAAAMMMESSSS”.
I rolled a natural 20 against STD’s! I win!
